Glencoe plays host to a number of lochans and sea lochs perfect for paddleboarding whether you are a first timer or seasoned explorer. Some of the most scenic spots are inland on Glencoe Lochan, our own Torren Lochan or Loch Achtriochtan deep in the glen. All three are perfect for learning how to stand and paddle or for the more experienced to gaze in wonder at the incredible mountains and wildlife.
Loch Leven has a number of islands to explore and a vast length perfect for longer trips. Eileen Munde – The Graveyard Island – sits just out from Glencoe and is a fantastic trip for an hour. Further down the loch on the north side is the Loch Leven Seafood Cafe offering fresh shellfish and a great atmosphere, we think there is no better way to arrive than by paddleboard!
Rugged Paddleboard Glencoe offers all of these experiences and more. Setup by Rob and Keren to share the wonders of the water around Glencoe they provide lessons, tours and rentals to guests, locals and visitors a like. Guests of Signal Rock receive 10% off all bookings with them!
